Library Services

Welcome new and returning students! A great deal has been happening in the library over the summer. Here’s a look at some of the changes:

New Subject Guides

Now available for Business, Counseling, Education, Organizational Leadership, Psychology, and Undergraduate Studies, these guides include links to relevant databases, resources and websites. The guides also include tips and techniques for better search results, as well as links to writing, citing resources and information on plagiarism. Links to the subject guides are available through the library website at: www.auchicagolib.org

Online Library

If you have not heard already, the majority of library research databases, including PsycINFO, PsycARTICLES, as well as many new databases, are now available in the Online Library through the student portal @ https://mycampus.argosy.edu.

Once logged in to the student portal, just choose "Launch Library" from the announcements area. No separate logins are necessary.

The library also subscribes to several additional databases, such as PEP and Psychiatry Online, which are not available through the student portal online library. These are accessible through the library website @ www.auchicagolib.org. Tips on using the the Online Library are also posted on the website. But if you have any questions, or cannot find what you are looking for, please feel free to contact a librarian.

Coming Soon: Even More Full-Text Journals!

Collections of full-text journals through Sage and other publishers will be available soon. When more details become available, the library will post an announcement on the Library News Blog, which is accessible through the main library website.

Questions about finding sources in the new database lineup? Ask us. We’ll be happy to help.
