Laci Barron, Psy.D. Candidate

I am currently an intern at Central Texas Internship in Clinical and Forensic Psychology/Rockdale Regional Juvenile Justice Center. My primary rotation includes a clinically focused treatment model with adolescents, while my secondary rotation involves forensic evaluations with adults. I have accepted a postdoctoral position at this same site; however, I may be moving to a different location closer to the Dallas/Ft. Worth area.

I am currently an intern at the University of Puget Sound’s Counseling, Health, and Wellness Services. It is a fantastic placement in a stunningly beautiful location. When I’m not at work or chipping away at my CRP, I’m seeking out as many adventures in Western Washington as I can.
Amy Skeen-Anderson, Psy. D.

I graduated December 17, 2006 with my Psy.D. from the Dallas branch. I am currently working 60% on a forensic inpatient unit and 20% outpatient. The remaining 20% of my time is dedicated to testing and training. I have been offered a position with the outpatient clinic for next year. However, I have an interview in Chapel Hill, NC for an invitation to a group practice. I don't know where I will end up. I am passionate about working with traumatize children and victims in general. I love play and art therapy with all populations and look forward to knowing what I will be doing next year.

I accepted a position at Texas Youth Commission as a Psychologist and I am doing what I love -- working with challenging teenagers. I am also teaching classes at AU Dallas, when I can fit that in, as well as working on licensure, a presentation for the upcoming APA conference, and publishing a portion of my CRP.
